Tech week

We spent the hottest day of the year loading set pieces, furniture and lumber into the second floor studio of the Victory Gardens Greenhouse Theater yesterday - it’s always a fun day to step into the empty theater for the first time and start the process of filling it up.
The actors don’t move into the space until next weekend - they’re still rehearsing at a separate location while we get everything ready for their arrival on Saturday. And then things get really interesting.
In this picture, Managing Director Kevin Scott cuts some 2×4s to frame one of the upstage walls.
And so tech week begins.
